Digitalpainting made from a reference photo I took in Japan a few years back. ππ―π΅π
You can also see my process of making this picture. I start out with a very rough pencil brush. Where I only think about composition and forms. Then I drawer more detailes with a thinner pencil Brush. After that I put the clean up layer on overlay and turn it 50% down and make a new layer under where I paint my rough colors in. When I'm happy with the rough colors I start painting with my brush set of leafs, grass and textured brushes. I start from the background and end with the forground elements. Have background, middel ground and forground in each layers, so I can adjust the colors and use them for masking in the process of making the mood and lighting. I paint in my shadow and light with adjustment, overlay and multiply layers. This is my typical techning that I also use for my professional work.
