Almost geting there. Mostly tweaking all over the place to get the look I was looking for.

This project started as a small experiment to learn more about Blender and get back into 3D work. I wanted to create a stylized forest scene with a small fantasy mill surrounded by nature.

It turned out to be a great learning experience. I used Geometry Nodes to scatter plants across the forest floor and to build the treetops, while the water was created mainly with Shader Nodes, combined with Geometry Nodes detecting where objects touch the surface.

Everything was rendered in real time using Blender’s Eevee.
The most challenging part was getting the render to behave properly, but I learned a lot along the way. There are still details I’d like to refine later, yet for now I’m happy to call it done and move on to new projects. 🙂
